Back in 1990 the band Nelson came blaring through our speakers and onto our TV screens, with the bands two front men Matthew and Gunnar Nelson, with long blonde hair and colourful attire delivering a positive message of hope, fun and perfect harmonies to the world of music that not many bands were doing at that time. Their debut album ‘After The Rain’ went on to sell over 3 million copies brandishing the number 1 worldwide hit ‘(Can’t Live Without Your) Love and Affection’ and 3 other top 10 singles.
Celebrity rockers Matthew & Gunnar Nelson announced their rock band NELSON has signed with Frontiers Records to record and release a new, original sequel to their multiplatinum selling album, “After the Rain”. The new album will be titled, “Lightning Strikes Twice”.

Frontiers Records are very excited to announce the signing of American rockers Nelson for a brand new Rock album – set to be titled “Lightning Strikes Twice”. The label will also release a Nelson live album recorded during the “After the Rain” tour and the original “After the Rain” demos which include some unreleased gems.
Los Angeles, CA April 24, 2009 — Celebrity rockers Matthew & Gunnar Nelson announced their rock band NELSON is moving to the coveted weekend line up and are now scheduled to perform at the Third Annual ROCKLAHOMA Music Festival in Pryor, Oklahoma on Sunday, July 12, 2009. Nelson was originally scheduled to perform during the week on Thursday, July 9th.
